...as I was removing the MAF connector the metal clip went flying off and I can't find it! Any idea where I could buy one? Sorry to rob your pic Paul, but it illustrates exactly the piece I need.





Additionally, I can't locate a crush washer for the coolant drain in the engine block. Anyone have a source or part number?

The washer is easy: Engine Block Drain Plug Washer (BMW P# 07-11-9-963-200) $0.35

As far as the MAF sensor clip.  My advice would be to thoroughly look for it and if you can't find it go to the BMW dealership and ask for their advice.  Other than taking one off of another car I have no idea.  I'm pretty sure BMW could get ahold of one.
